QA/QC
MEC Engineering Company practices 100% Quality Control to the utmost satisfaction of the Client. To achieve the required level of quality work and good workmanship, the Company sticks to well planned and systematic Quality Control Program.
The Quality of work and Quality Control will be fully in accordance with Engineering specifications, codes and quality plan laid down by specific project.
The Project crew plays the most important role. The MEC ensures that the right person is employed for the right job, which can carry out his responsibilities with correct sense and without any difficulty. The QA/QC inspector will ensure team spirit and quality awareness.
The following steps will be adopted to ensure the quality stage wise:
Stage 1 - Procurement of Materials:
Our Engineering & Construction department does preparation of bill of material; where a team of experienced engineers with the help of proposed project site staff ensures the right material take off.
Project material coordinator and assigned Project Manager jointly supervise transfer of bill of materials to the material status report (MSR). Copies of MSR are recorded at Engineering and Construction department, Purchasing department and a copy is also given to the Project Manager for his record and follows up where necessary.
Enquires with the detail specifications are issued only to the qualified vendors. Moreover, to ensure the compliance with the applicable specifications, only our Engineering department evaluates those offers, which comply with the proposed specifications. After scrutinizing the offer, we submit all the relevant and necessary documents and / or samples as required by the project specifications to the client.
At the project site the Material Supervisor / Project Manager checks the material. A material receiving report is made taking into account comments if any and copies are furnished to the Engineering and Construction department as well as procurement department for their follow up action regarding any discrepancies, damages or short supplies.
During material delivery our QA / QC inspector visits supplier warehouse to see that material handling and transport is done properly. At the site warehouse, QA / QC inspector with warehouse in-charge checks for proper storage and stocking of the materials taking into account the required protection and guarding as per manufacturer’s recommendations.
